This Privacy Policy explains how Elite Cleaning (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use our mobile application and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information We Collect
Account information: your name, mobile phone number, and the password you choose when you register.
Order information: the laundry items you order, pickup and delivery preferences, order history, payment method (cash on delivery only) and order status.
Address information: the pickup/delivery addresses you save, including postal code, city and street details.
Approximate or precise location: only when you actively tap “Use my current location” (or choose a location on the map) to fill in your address. We request only the foreground location permission; we do not track your location in the background, and location is not collected while the app is closed.
Device and technical information: device type, operating system version, app version, language, and a push-notification token used to deliver order notifications.
Notifications: we may send push notifications about order status (confirmed, picked up, out for delivery, delivered) and promotions.
We do not collect: your contacts, your phone’s photo gallery, your SMS, your call log, or precise location in the background. We do not sell your personal data.
2. How We Use Your Information
To create and manage your account.
To receive, process and deliver your laundry orders, and to let the assigned store and driver reach you.
To send order status notifications and, where you opted in, promotional messages.
To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
To improve the app, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Location Data
Location is used for one purpose only: to automatically fill in the address field when you tap “Use my current location” during checkout or when adding an address. You can always type the address manually instead. Your precise location is never shared beyond what is needed to complete that address lookup and the delivery of your order.
4. Who We Share Information With
The laundry store fulfilling your order, and the delivery driver assigned to your order, receive the information necessary to pick up and deliver your order (name, phone number, address, order details).
Service providers that operate the infrastructure we rely on: cloud hosting, push notification delivery (OneSignal / Firebase Cloud Messaging), and mapping/address geocoding services. These providers process data only on our instructions.
Legal requirements: we may disclose information if required by applicable law or to protect the rights, safety and property of our users or of Elite Cleaning.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
5. Payments
The application currently supports cash on delivery only. No card or bank details are collected or stored by the application.
6. Data Retention and Security
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account (see Account Deletion), your profile, addresses and order history are removed within a maximum of 3 days.
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored on secured servers.
We use access controls so that only personnel who need your data to operate the service can access it.
7. Your Rights
Access and correction: you can view and edit your profile and addresses directly in the app.
Deletion: you can delete your account and your data from the app at any time (Profile → Delete Account), or by email.
Notifications: you can disable push notifications from your device settings at any time.
Location: you can deny the location permission from your device settings; the app will still work if you type the address manually.
8. Children
The Service is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Third-Party Links
The app may open links (for example WhatsApp or a phone call) that open other applications or websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
